Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader (AR) is a web-based program widely used at Encino Charter to support and encourage student reading. It is accessible in classrooms, the library, and at home, and serves as a powerful tool for teachers to motivate students and track their reading progress.

The program includes millions of books and corresponding quizzes, so students can take a quiz on nearly any book they read. This helps build comprehension skills and fosters a love of reading.

Through HomeConnect, parents can view their child’s reading progress and quiz scores.
