English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC)

Encino Charter’s English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meets regularly throughout the year to support the success of our English Learner students. Meetings focus on important topics such as attendance, assessment data, and academic strategies that families can use at home to support learning.

ELAC plays an important advisory role by making recommendations to the Local School Leadership/Charter Leadership Council (LSLC/CLC) about programs and services for English Learners. These recommendations are grounded in student performance data and insights from parent engagement efforts.
