Social Emotional Health and Wellbeing

At Encino Charter we are committed to supporting the whole child.  We are fortunate to have a Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW) on site Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays that supports students social-emotional barriers to learning in order to improve academic success.  Our PSW is available to provide short term individual support, small group sessions, crisis intervention, community referrals and parent support.  Our PSW also provides classroom presentations on topics that promote wellness and resilience, positive social skills, and conflict resolution.
