Welcome Letter from the Principal

Dear Students, Families, Teachers, Staff, and Community Members,

 

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new principal of Encino Charter Elementary School. I am honored to join you as we embark together on this  journey of growth, learning, and success.

 

For more than 27 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Los Angeles Unified School District as a classroom teacher, intervention coordinator, instructional coach, instructional coordinator, and administrator. I have a deep passion for education, a steadfast commitment to student safety and student achievement, and a collaborative approach to leadership. I am incredibly excited to support Encino Charter Elementary School’s dynamic and vibrant community.

 

From the moment I stepped foot onto campus, I felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is present in our school. The dedication of our exceptional teachers and staff, the boundless potential of our talented students, and the unwavering support from our engaged parents and community are clearly evident and the foundation upon which we will continue to build our collective success.

 

In the coming weeks, I look forward to meeting each one of you personally.  Building relationships and getting to know our students, families, and community members is a top priority for me. You are what makes our school special, and I am looking forward to getting to know you and working alongside each member of this exceptional community.
