English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC)

Encino Charter’s ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee) meets six times throughout the year to discuss various topics such as attendance, assessment data, and academic strategies that families may utilize at home to help students succeed. ELAC members make recommendations to the School Site/Charter Leadership Council (SSC/CLC) regarding programs and services for English Learner (EL) students. Recommendations are based on student performance and parental involvement data collected by the school and school district.
